We are an independent research and innovation lab based in Nairobi. We work where technology changes what is possible and where old systems stop making economic or human sense.
Purpose 11 was built around a simple observation: meaningful innovation rarely arrives as a single brilliant idea. It emerges through a sequence-asking better questions, collecting stronger evidence, choosing the right bet, then building the mechanism that makes the bet real.
Our job is to shorten that sequence without flattening it. We combine research rigor with design and engineering pragmatism.
Nairobi is home base, not a boundary.
Kenya offers a dense environment for observing mobile behavior, digital finance, commerce, distributed work and rapidly changing infrastructure. We use that proximity to sharpen our thinking, then design products and systems that can travel.
